Overview
DigiFix IT partnered with Vodafone Global Enterprise to refine its M2M (Machine-to-Machine) billing service model, ensuring a structured, automated, and scalable rating-only service. The project aimed to define the end-to-end billing process, optimise statement generation workflows, improve stakeholder collaboration, and implement a comprehensive service design pack to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Project Scope
The Billing Service Model was designed to create a seamless and efficient M2M billing framework, focusing on:
Service Design Pack – Establishing a clear, structured framework for rating-only billing services, ensuring accurate billing, revenue assurance, and compliance with Vodafone’s financial processes.
Process Mapping – Defining end-to-end workflows for statement preparation, validation, issuance, and query resolution.
Participation Diagram – Mapping key stakeholder roles across Vodafone Global Billing Services (GBS), OpCo teams, and external customers to ensure clear accountability.
Stakeholder Management – Creating an engagement model to align internal teams and enhance communication between finance, operations, and customer service.
UX Design & Customer Experience Enhancements – Improving the customer journey, making billing statements, adjustments, and query handling more intuitive and efficient.
Project Management & System Implementation – Overseeing the execution of billing configuration updates, query management processes, and adjustments workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
