Overview

DigiFix IT was engaged by Visa Europe to enhance its card processing infrastructure, ensuring a streamlined, secure, and scalable system. The project aimed to modernise service management frameworks, improve process efficiency, and introduce clear participation models to optimise stakeholder engagement in billing and transaction workflows.

Project Scope

The Service Design Pack was developed to provide a structured approach to card processing and system integration, including:

  • Process Mapping – Defining end-to-end workflows for transaction authorisation, settlement, and reconciliation.

  • Participation Diagram – Establishing stakeholder roles within the card processing ecosystem, mapping internal teams, financial partners, and compliance authorities.

  • System Integration – Enhancing the interaction between card processing, payment gateways, and financial reporting systems.

  • Security & Compliance – Ensuring PCI DSS compliance, risk management, and fraud prevention within the Visa Europe processing network.

  • User Experience (UX) Design – Improving the digital experience for merchants, financial institutions, and end users within Visa’s ecosystem.

  • Project Management – Overseeing process implementation, stakeholder alignment, and system deployment to ensure timely execution.
