The problem visible to the customer is often not where the problem actually lives.
Service design grounded in operational reality.
DigiFixIT works where customer experience, process, technology and organisational complexity meet.
We use research and visual service-design methods to understand current-state services, identify relationships and dependencies, and help teams establish clearer future states.
The aim is not to produce artefacts for their own sake. Journey maps, service blueprints and process models are useful when they help people make better decisions, align teams and improve how a service operates.
Four principles behind the work.
Understand before redesigning.
Decisions should begin with evidence from users, staff, systems, processes and the operational environment.
Look beyond the interface.
Services are produced by interconnected people, processes, policies, technology, data and governance.
Make complexity visible.
Visualising the whole system helps different teams understand relationships, ownership, pain points and dependencies.
Design for implementation.
Good design should help an organisation move towards a workable future state, not stop at recommendations.
Connecting what customers experience with what organisations operate.
Roles & ownership
Who is responsible for each part of the service and where decisions are made.
Workflow & hand-offs
How work moves between teams and where delay, duplication or ambiguity appears.
Systems & data
The platforms and information required to support customer and operational activity.
Decisions & control
The policies, risks, controls and accountability structures surrounding service delivery.
Working across different kinds of complexity.

Extending service design into AI governance.
AI introduces new relationships between customers, staff, technology, data, decision-making and organisational risk.
DigiFixIT applies the same systems-thinking approach to AI-enabled services — making accountability, governance processes, human oversight and monitoring visible.
The capability includes AI governance discovery, operating-model design, AI risk and impact processes, human oversight, monitoring and ISO/IEC 42001-aligned readiness support.

Work with the people who operate the service.
The people closest to a service often hold knowledge that documentation and dashboards cannot reveal.
Create shared views of complexity.
Maps and models provide a common reference point for teams that otherwise see only their own part of the service.
Bring different perspectives together.
Service design creates a bridge between customer, operational, technical and organisational perspectives.
Leave teams with something they can use.
Outputs should support decisions, prioritisation, governance and the next stage of delivery.
Turn organisational complexity into shared understanding, then turn shared understanding into better decisions.
